Be on the lookout for... A NEW LOOK... a new website... new design services... a new blog!! All in a few short weeks! Red Barn Artworks is excited to announce that we will be launching a whole new website!

Not only will we have a fresh new look, but the new site will be simpler to navigate and easier to view our art on products. It will offer more custom photo design services made more affordable, and even more shipping options. Our new blog will be seemlessly integrated into the website and our main page slideshow will enlighten all about our products and services. We can't wait!

We will announce our new website when it launches, but the old Red Barn Artworks site is still in operation if you'd like to take a last look or place an order. We have been very proud of our site and it has served us well, but it is time for a change!

Art Chosen for Extreme Home Makeover

The Red Barn Artworks images (above) are framed and ready to be installed in the newly constructed Extreme Home Makeover Home in Lyme, NH! The design producer of the show selected these pieces because he wanted a traditional New England feel to be brought into the home. We had two days to complete the requests and deliver the art. It was a great experience to be a small part of this project and very exciting to see the progress of the house. They didn't yet know when the Lyme episode will be on the air, but will keep us posted.

For those of you local to Keene, NH or those who have visited, you may have noticed that it is extremely difficult to find Keene T-shirts. Well, not anymore! Red Barn Artworks has designed two gorgeous ladies t-shirts local to the Keene area! The first is a bold and beautiful Mount Monadnock design on a brilliant lavendar tee. The second design contains four artistic images of downtown Keene on a cheerful key-lime tee.

We use only Vapor Performance Apparel - quality fabrics built with Intera's permanent moisture wicking technology. Light and durable, spun poly-performance fabrics have the feel of cotton, are comfortable and sturdy. With two-needle cover stitch-in hems, reinforced neck tape, and four-thread over-lock stitching, these gorgeous tees keep their shape wash after wash. The four-color sublimated artistic design is bold and beautiful and the colors really "pop" on the fabric.

Decorative Plates

Several customers have asked if Red Barn Artworks has considered decorative plates as a product offering. We have been researching this and have found a white 10" plate with a gold band around the outside of the plate and another gold band around where the image would go on the inside of the plate. The image would be about 5.5" round in the center of the plate. We can print our images as well as custom pictures. We have not tested the plate yet, but we would love your feedback: Do you think this would be a good product and how much do you think a customer would pay? It looks as though it would have to retail for somewhere between $20 - $35 (the higher price for custom retail). What do you think?

Red Barn Artworks has many images of farms and farm animals, but we do not have any pig pictures ~ we are working on getting a piggy photo or two. If anyone has any good pig shots just let me know! Also, let me know how you feel about pigs!

Thank you for asking about jewelry boxes! That has been a product that we have looked into and it is very likely that we will offer that in the near future. We would be able to sublimate a picture on the lid (which means it would be baked into the lid). It could be a straight photograph or one redesigned with a painterly effect. We are trying to find the jewelry box that we think is of the highest quality and greatest value. We will keep you posted!

At Red Barn Artworks, we create many custom gift items using people's photographs. Some of these were our own ideas and some of them came from customers. For example, a local Keene gift shop asked if we could put photographs on necklaces. We researched this and realized that we can, and these have been some of our top sellers. We've also been approached for Bar Mitzvah invitations, which came out beautifully. We've also created mouse pads for interested customers. So, even if you don't see a product or design on our website, please let us know if there is something you would like to have made and we will let you know if it can be done!
